At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, he broke the Olympic record again with a throw of 23.30 meters and defended his title; at the 2024 Paris Olympics, he won the gold medal again with a throw of 22.90 meters, achieving a three-peat and becoming the first male athlete to win three gold medals in the Olympic shot put event. His achievements at the World Championships are particularly impressive. From 2019 to 2023, he won 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal, and won the championship with a throw of 23.51 meters at the 2023 Budapest World Championships, setting a new championship record. In addition, he has also won multiple gold medals in the American Athletics Championships and Diamond League.

Ryan Crouser has continuously broken world records over the past decade. At the 2021 IAAF Indoor Tour Fayetteville Station, he broke the previous men's indoor shot put world record of 22.66 meters set by Randy Barnes in 1989 with a throw of 22.82 meters. Two years later, at the Idaho Indoor Athletics Championships in the United States, he threw 23.38 meters, once again breaking the men's indoor shot put world record. At the June 2021 US Athletics Tokyo Olympic Trials, Crouser broke the men's outdoor shot put world record with a throw of 23.37 meters, and in 2023, he raised his own world record to 23.56 meters.
