The World Athletics Indoor Championships Nanjing 25 officially began on March 21 at the “Nanjing’s Cube”. The event features 26 disciplines and has attracted nearly 600 athletes from over 120 countries and regions. On the first day of competition, exciting battles took place in events such as the men’s 400m, men’s 800m, women’s 800m, men’s 60m, women’s high jump (pentathlon), and women’s shot put (pentathlon). The first gold medals of the championships were awarded in the men’s triple jump, women’s shot put, men’s 60m, men’s high jump, and women’s pentathlon.
