After the event, Bryant expressed her excitement, saying: “I felt great today, and the support from other athletes really motivated me. Standing on the top of the podium exceeded all my expectations. It’s just amazing!”
The silver and bronze medalists also delivered impressive performances. Annik Kälin, who had been in third place, leaped 6.83 meters on her final attempt, making a dramatic comeback to claim silver. Kälin shared her thoughts: “I focused completely on my last jump and gave it everything I had. The cheering from the crowd helped me push even further!” Meanwhile, bronze medalist Fátima Diame spoke fondly of her experience in Nanjing: “It feels great to be here! I’m looking forward to exploring this beautiful city in the next few days!”
Competing on home soil, China’s HUANG Yingying, born in 2004, has already won multiple provincial titles in her youth.
